Our Core Beliefs
We recognize that within the broader Christian faith, there are essential beliefs that unite us, and non-essential beliefs that allow for diversity and personal conviction.
By focusing on these foundational truths, we create a space where individuals from various denominational backgrounds can come together and experience the love of Christ in a vibrant and inclusive community.
We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. We affirm His crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. (John 3:16, Matthew 1:23)
We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Repentance is commanded by God for all and is necessary for forgiveness of sins. (Romans 3:23, Acts 3:19)
We believe that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
We believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 4:3, 2 Corinthians 3:18)
We believe that holiness is God's standard for living for His people. (1 Peter 1:15-16)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart. (Acts 1:8)
We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, and we consider this as one of the evidences of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:4)
We believe in water baptism by immersion and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe in observing the Lord's Supper and practicing the washing of the saints' feet. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26, John 13:14-15)
We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ. Firstly, to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints to Him in the air; secondly, to reign on the earth for a thousand years. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. (John 5:28-29, Matthew 25:46)
